2015 WSOM Wrap Up

Thank you again for supporting the 2015 West Seattle Outdoor Movies.

Throughout the season we showed classics such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show (toast anyone?), with audience members in full costume, a Frank N. Furter host, and plenty of oddities to thrill the audience.  For Big Hero 6, the kind folks at West Seattle Christian hosted another free community BBQ.  Guardians of the Galaxy boasted record crowds.   We had such campy shows as Raising Arizona with local musicians kicking off the movie.  And who cannot love Derek Zoolander?

Our local charities benefited too from your purchase of concessions and raffle prizes.  We raised a total of $1,990 through raffle and concession sales for many of our neighborhood non-profits including:  WestSide Baby, White Center and West Seattle food banks, West Seattle Helpline, Furry Faces Foundation, Log House Museum, Southwest Seattle Historical Society, Rainier Roller Girls, and the Northwest Center.

We'll see you in 2016!

Rocky Horror Picture Show Saturday, August 22nd.

Join us for the final movie of the 2015 season - Rocky Horror Picture Show.  We'll have bird seed for the audience (no rice please).  You can find the full prop list here.   The show will be hosted by Frank N. Furter with an urban campsite as our main raffle prize.

Gates at 6:30pm.  Free!
